Weddings and Receptions
Hilltop has long been recognized as a favorite site for extraordinary weddings. Many former campers, “Hilltoppers”, well familiar with the beauty and special magic that Hilltop holds chose to be married at Hilltop long before Hilltop was formally made available for weddings. Now, children of “Hilltoppers” are choosing to be wed at Hilltop. Ty and Janelle Fritz were married at Hilltop in 1973; Teresa Fritz married her husband, Robert Scott, at Hilltop in 1981. Ty and Janelle’s son Trygve and his wife, Rachel, were married in 2004. Each of these weddings gave opportunity to explore different expressions of sacred unions.
Hilltop has now been groomed to specifically accommodate the special needs and flow patterns so essential to weddings.
Wedding Events typically begin with Ceremony on the Hill, flowing down to the Terrace for cocktails; dining under the Canopy, followed by dessert either under the Canopy or once again up on the Terrace; music and dancing most typically continue at the Pavilion.
Included in the Basic Wedding Event Fee are the main facility, the Barn, surrounding grounds, chairs for ceremony, dining tables and chairs, set-up and break down, day-before ceremony rehearsal and drop-offs, on-site coordination and many other services. Rental of the Pavilion extends the party potential.
